SCA (Vic)

Complaints & Dispute Resolution Process

SCA (Vic) is a membership organisation which provides a forum for improved standards and education in the industry. It is not a regulatory or legal authority.

Unfortunately, there is no provision for SCA (Vic) to assist or mediate to resolve your owners corporation complaint.

You may submit a complaint form against a currently registered member (Strata Manager or Strata Services Member) for consideration by the Board. The outcome for members found to be in breach of SCA (Vic) standards and guidelines may be further training, receiving a warning, being suspended, or membership cancellation. Further information is provided below.

If you wish to undertake additional steps for complaints or dispute resolution, please contact Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) to better understand the process. Further information is provided below.

COMPLAINT AGAINST A CURRENT SCA (VIC) MEMBER

If you wish to bring a complaint against a current SCA (Vic) member (Strata Manager or Strata Services Member), ensure that any required steps outlined in the CAV process (VCAT / DSCV) are underway, retaining application numbers and details, then:
